Since 1990

Our story

An Italian restaurant at the heart of Old Town, Swindon — serving friends, families and celebrations since 1990.

  1. 1990

A small room on Bath Road

Fabio's opened in 1990 in a small ground-floor room at 15 Bath Road, with space for around twenty diners and roughly fifteen more seats in the basement.

  2. Family

A family restaurant, in every sense

Fabio's has always been shaped by its people: Mario Freti, his family and a team of long-serving staff. The restaurant has built its reputation on Italian food, hospitality and a lively, friendly atmosphere.

  3. 2007

    Room to grow

Fabio's later expanded, and in 2007 the restaurant was refurbished and extended.

  4. Today

    Upstairs, downstairs and outside

Today Fabio's has three places to dine — upstairs, downstairs and outside — and caters for birthdays, work nights out and larger groups, as well as lunch and dinner on Bath Road.
