Food allergies & intolerances

Allergen information

Every dish on our online menus shows its declared allergens in plain words — no need to decode numbers.

Please always speak to our team. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please tell a member of our team before ordering. We cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from allergens.

Most of our dishes are cooked with garlic, onion and fresh herbs, even though they may not be described on the menu.

Call us on 01793 615306 before your visit if you would like to talk anything through.

How to read our menus

  • “Contains: Milk · Eggs” lists the allergens declared for that dish on our printed menu.
  • A dish that shows “Please ask our team about allergens” has no allergens listed on our printed menu — that does not mean it is free from allergens.
  • A dish that shows “Allergen details are being confirmed” is being checked by our kitchen. Please ask before ordering.
  • The vegetarian label is shown only where our printed menu marks a dish as vegetarian.
  • Our printed menus use numbers 1–14 for allergens. The table below shows what each number means.
